Ready, set, RACE! Residents are invited to the Birdhouse Clubhouse for a fun, interactive Mario Kart experience where you can go head-to-head with your friends, family, and neighbors!

 

Players will compete in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Nintendo Switch during designated race time slots. When you arrive, sign up for an available time slot to secure your spot on the track. Sign-ups will take place at the event on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to arrive early!
But racing is just the beginning! The event will also feature:

Tiny Tales & Crafts is coming to the Birdhouse Clubhouse for another fun-filled morning of stories, imagination, and creativity!

 

This month, we’re bringing a little Disney magic to storytime! ???? Families will enjoy our usual Tiny Tales format featuring three engaging storytime books, with interactive breaks in between to keep little ones moving, participating, and having fun.
After storytime, we’ll wrap up the morning with a Disney-inspired craft that little artists can create and take home!

Ready to rally, compete, and paddle your way to the championship? Residents are invited to grab a partner and join us for The Pursuit of Paddle, a competitive pickleball tournament featuring teams from across Redbird Ranch!

 

Teams of 2 players will go head-to-head in timed 15-minute sessions against other Redbird Ranch teams. Each round will bring you one step closer to the Championship Game, where the final teams will battle it out for the top spot!

Ready to get creative? Join us for Mosaic Made Simple and discover just how fun and approachable mosaic art can be!

 

Residents will have the opportunity to create their very own personalized mosaic art tray, using colorful pieces to bring their unique vision to life. Whether you have an artistic masterpiece in mind or simply want to experiment and see where your creativity takes you, mosaic art is all about mixing colors, shapes, textures, and patterns to create something completely your own!
The Association will provide all of the materials needed to create your mosaic tray. Residents are encouraged to look up a design they’d like to recreate, find inspiration from a favorite pattern or image, or come up with an original design of their own!

 

No professional art skills are needed. Just bring your creativity and have fun with it!

Think you know the haunted history of San Antonio? Prepare to see downtown in a whole new way!

 

We’re taking residents on a bus trip to Downtown San Antonio for an exclusive private ghost tour with RJA Ghost Tours. Guided by certified paranormal investigators, we’ll explore some of downtown’s most haunted historical sites while uncovering the history, legends, unexplained encounters, and spooky secrets hidden within them. This isn’t your typical history tour. Get ready for an evening filled with San Antonio history, haunted stories, and paranormal intrigue as we walk through the places where some of the city’s most chilling tales took place.

The charter bus will pick up registered residents at Hollimon Park at 7:00 PM. We anticipate arriving at the Crockett Hotel around 8:15 PM.

 

 

- Meet Your Paranormal Investigator | 8:30–9:00 PM

Before the tour begins, you’ll have an opportunity to meet your paranormal investigator, learn about and check out some of the tools and equipment used during investigations, and grab a drink (21+) before the evening gets spooky!

 

- Ghost Tour | 9:00–11:00 PM

The tour will begin promptly at 9:00 PM and is expected to conclude around 11:00 PM.

 

Important: This is a WALKING TOUR!

Residents will visit 8 different locations throughout the tour, so be prepared to walk. We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather.

 

- Return Transportation

Don't worry about finding your way back! The charter bus will pick the group up at the final tour location and transport everyone back to Hollimon Park.

 

Before You Purchase Your Ticket This experience involves significant walking and spooky stories, locations, and paranormal experiences. If you have difficulty walking for extended periods or become easily frightened, this event may not be the best fit for you.

 

Please plan accordingly so everyone can have a safe and enjoyable evening!

The Association is transforming the photo experience into a throwback Old West Photo Parlor, where residents can step back in time and capture a one-of-a-kind portrait inspired by the photography of the American frontier. Think dusty trails, saloons, cowboys, outlaws, sheriffs, and frontier legends!
We’ll have a collection of Old West-inspired costumes and accessories available for residents to borrow for their portraits. Want to bring your own look? Saddle up and bring it with you!
